Judy Ann Santos is one of the most sought-after actresses of her generation. With a career spanning decades, she has won accolades here and abroad for her acting prowess.
On Tuesday, talent manager and host Lolit Solis shared a write up featuring Judy Ann’s comment on the pressure love teams experience like what she went through before.
Accordingly, the pressure that love teams experience from the fans is a factor why they do not end up together.
“Usually kaya hindi nagkakatuluyan o kaya nagiging matibay ang pagmamahalan ng magka love team sa showbiz dahil sa pressure o kaya naman dahil talagang ipinilit lang para pagbigyan ang mga fans.”
In her younger years, Judy Ann was first paired with Rico Yan in the TV series Gimik in 1996. Their tandem was loved by many viewers, however, a year after Judy was partnered with Wowie de Guzman.

In the series, Esperanza in 1997, which is her biggest breakthrough in her showbiz career, her chemistry with Wowie was also loved by many people. With this, a movie adaptation of the said series followed in 1999.
Judy Ann, Rico, and Wowie also worked together in one movie entitled Paano Ang Puso Ko?
Judy Ann was alternatively paired with Wowie and Rico in the late ’90s.
But in the early 2000s, strong chemistry between Judy Ann and Piolo Pascual was discovered by viewers. They starred together in different projects including Kahit Isang Saglit (2000), Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka (2001), Bakit ‘Di Totohanin (2001), Till There Was You (2003), and Don’t Give Up on Us (2006).
But these love teams stayed purely on-screen as Judy Ann eventually ended up with Ryan Agoncillo whom she worked with on Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo (2006) and Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo (2007).
Moreover, the decision of Judy Ann to dismiss the pressure of her love teams was commended by Lolit.

Judy and Ryan started their relationship in 2005 and exchanged their marriage vows in April 2009.
They are blessed with three children; Yohan, whom they adopted in 2005; Juan Luis; and Juana Luisa.
