During the press conference for the newest Kapamilya star, Janine Gutierrez shared her reason for transfer to ABS-CBN. She said that she felt amazed at the network for producing quality content despite the situation–amid the pandemic.
She emphasized that her transferring was her personal decision.
“Siguro ang natutunan ko din po sa career ko, in the more recent years, is na mas mabuti kung personal decision talaga lahat. And, this was a personal decision,” said Janine.
Then, she added that she is amazed by how ABS-CBN created too much quality content amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Ako personally, I’m amazed at how despite the situation, ABS-CBN comes up with so much quality content,” said Janine.
She also cited how she admired the Kapamilyas who continue to support the Network despite the lack of franchise, their move to the digital platforms, and ABS-CBN’s partnerships.
“At syempre yung mga Kapamilya hindi bumibitaw di ba? Especially, now even ASAP is on TV5. And, sabi nyo, everything is also digital. Ngayon mayroon tayong mga Kapamilya from other parts of the world na kasama natin ngayon,” said Janine.
Then, Janine added the limitless opportunities she sees in the Network.
“So, I feel like the opportunities are limitless din po talaga ngayon,” Janine added.
Finally, Janine said that she wanted to grab every opportunity with her Network transfer.
“I feel like some opportunities only come once, and I really want to grab this opportunity. Kahit ano pa man ang situation, masaya ako din sa ABS-CBN,” said Janine.
After the shutdown in 2020, ABS-CBN shifted to digital platforms to release new content. They pioneered productions that simultaneously streams on their various social media accounts.
