2020 Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actress Charlie Dizon teams up once more with Jameson Blake as they play high school sweethearts whose relationship gets tested by two third parties on “MMK” this Saturday (February 13).
“MMK”’s second presentation in the month of love is the story of Jobel (Charlie) and Gerard (Jameson), who come from different backgrounds—Gerard is known to be a happy-go-lucky guy from a well to do family while Jobel is the class valedictorian and a scholar.
Even if they are total opposites, their love for each other binds them. The two encounter a problem when Gerard’s easygoing attitude leads him to a no-label relationship with another girl.
But this will not be for long as he will soon realize his mistakes and try to patch things up with Jobel. But as Jobel studies for her nursing board exam, she meets Christian (Jason Dy), a mature and God-fearing man.
What will be Christian’s role in Gerard and Jobel’s relationship? Will Jobel fall for Christian who is every girl’s dream?
