iWantTFC continues to bring unique Filipino stories to its subscribers worldwide as it offers free streaming of movies from Sine Reel, the longest-running student film festival in the country, starting April 17.

Featuring the works of the University of Santo Tomas’ Communication Arts Students’ Association, Sine Reel 2021 will present 14 short films in its exhibition category.

iWantTFC subscribers can watch “Golden,” which follows a student’s takedown of a secret gambling scheme in her school, while “Chit” imagines a future where time travelling is possible in the Philippines.

Friendship and adventure are highlighted in “Heist School,” where a group of students steal their teacher’s answer key in order to save their grades, “Peksman,” where four friends attempt to sabotage a field trip, and “Oplan Eskapo,” where three kids devise a plan to get their friend out of the house, against the orders of his strict mother.

“Quaranfling” follows a romantic relationship that develops during the COVID-19 lockdown, while “Bakla Sakali” deals with a gay boy who is confused about his feelings for his girl best friend.

In “Itlog,” a young son has to learn the value of responsibility by looking after an egg. In “Baon Royale,” grade five students compete to bring the most delicious lunch to school. In “Sequence 13,” an actor struggles to nail a final scene.

Meanwhile, “Year Forty Six” keeps up with a student who looks into the disappearance of his favorite teacher, while “Niño” tackles the pains of a boy who longs for the love of his father and suddenly gets a period.

“Garing” tells the story of a mother who struggles to pay for her son’s medical bills, while “Alon” finds two siblings who are grieving over the death of their older sister.

Don’t miss all the participating films in Sine Reel 2021 starting April 17 on the iWantTFC app (iOs and Android) or on iwanttfc.com. Viewers can also enjoy watching on a bigger screen through select devices on VEWD, ROKU streaming devices, Android TV, select Samsung Smart TV models, Telstra TV for global users, and VIDAA for select countries. iWantTFC is also available via Chromecast and Airplay.
