Enrique Gil in an interview last Sunday, November 22, after the show “ASAP 20,” said that he’s happy and glad that in the network where he belongs they call each other “Kapamilya” which means there are no rivalries among them, there’s nothing like that.
He also added that their fans and the fans of other love teams from another network should just be “cool” with each other. And that he doesn’t support ‘love team wars’ and sees no point on it.
Further into the interview, Enrique said that he’s happy with the success of the ‘AlDub’ love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, who as we all know belongs to the rival channel.
Enrique congratulated the love team and said that “they are so blessed” and that they should continue on with what they are doing, to make the people happy.
“God has placed us in this position to bring joy and happiness to a lot of people. All these things are from the Lord and we have to always thank Him for that. We should just keep on going, do our best not just for ourselves but for the people who loves and appreciate what we do best.”
There are many love teams in both networks ABS-CBN and GMA Network and the fans sometimes just got carried away on how they support and love their idols.
For ABS-CBN there’s the LizQuen tandem by Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, then KathNiel by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla and JaDine of James Reid and Nadine Lustre, and for GMA Network, aside from AlDub, there’s TomCar of Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abella, the husband and wife loveteam of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, among others.
As for the LizQuen loveteam, they are well loved and supported by their fans, actually their two movies ‘Just The Way You Are’ and ‘Everyday I Love You’ are both blockbusters.
