Jake Zyrus feels unfit to love in ‘Fix Me’ single

Jake Zyrus believes he is unworthy of love in his newest single under ABS-CBN Music International titled “Fix Me.”

The rich tone of Jake’s vocals stand out in the pop/R&B single, which depicts a man who is struggling to accept love due to his belief that his love interest deserves someone better. Although it presents traces of issues like self-deprecation and depression, the track also serves to remind listeners that everyone is deserving to be loved despite many shortcomings.

“Fix Me” was written and composed by Grammy-winning composer Kenneth Mackey, Swedish singer-songwriter Andreas Moss, and American record producer Joshua Bronleewe.

Fil-Am music director Troy Laureta—whom Jake recently collaborated with the track “Usahay” in “KAIBIGAN: A Troy Laureta OPM Collective Vol. 1”—produced the song along with ABS-CBN Music International, which seeks to showcase Filipino artistry in the global spotlight.

Jake previously released another meaningful song “Love Even If” during last year’s Pride Month, which advocates for love to reign supreme in the midst of the world’s cruelty. He followed this up with the jazz-pop single “Miss You in the Moonlight.”

Break free from your apprehensions about love and listen to Jake’s latest single “Fix Me,” out now on various digital music platforms. For more details, like Star Music on Facebook (www.facebook.com/starmusicph), and follow it on Twitter and Instagram (@StarMusicPH).
