After 11 long years on television, Pepito Manaloto, a Saturday sitcom series of GMA-7 seems to suggest that it will air its final episode on May 22.
With all the rumors circulating about its finale, GMA-7 seemed to go with the flow as it released an article and a teaser about the said matter.
GMA Network has released the teaser of the upcoming episode titled “Last na ba ‘to?”. The plot centers on Elsa (played by Manilyn Reynes) getting nervous over the following rumors about the maid who poisoned her boss.
Elsa thinks that the maid might be Berta (played by Jen Rosendahl) since Berta’s boss, Mimi (played by Nova Villa) fails to release Berta’s monthly salary on time.
The fans of the series were shocked when the teaser included the words “sa nalalapit na pagtatapos?” Many feared that this would be the confirmation of the rumored termination of the Kapuso sitcom.
To recall, blind items surfaced on social media platforms about an important actor who considers taking sabbatical from showbiz. These blind items heavily suggested Michael V and his show Pepito Manalo will soon reach its end.
Many were saddened and dismayed at the possible finale of Pepito Manaloto.
This is not the first time that the GMA Network has released articles and teasers that seemed to be dropping hints about its finale.
The network has not yet confirmed if the series will no longer be seen on television. Its finale remains a big question to everyone.
