Recently, Mother Lily Monteverde hosted a grand presscon for the movie “Honor Thy Father”, the official entry of Reality Entertainment for the 2015 Metro Mnila Film Festival (MMFF).
John Lloyd Cruz is the lead actor of “Honor Thy Father” and this is his first time to work with Regal since it was Mother Lily who called the presscon for the MMFF project of her son Dondon, the producer of Reality Entertainment.
In the grand presscon, Mother Lily personally requested John Llyod to pose with her in a picture. Who’s just so excited and said “I’m a fan!”, and John Llyod was just thrilled with the Regal Films producer’s reactions and dialogue.
According to the article by Jojo Gabinete of Abante Online, it was Mother Lily’s dream to produce a film for John Lloyd, and she’s happy as well that John Llyod has been looking forward of doing a movie with the film company of the legendary movie producer.

John Llyod was just so honored to be the lead star of “Honor Thy Father” and he’s so thankful for the special treatment that Mother Lily had shown him.
Inspite of the fact that John Llyod has been in showbusiness for so long, this is the first time that he did a movie which will be included in the Metro Manila Film Festival, that’s why the multi-awarded actor can’t contain his excitement and experience to join and ride a float in the Parade of Stars on December 23.
“Honor Thy Father” is a suspense thiller movie about a married couple who’s involved in white-collared swindling jobs to unwilling victims. It was because of this film that John Llyod agreed to shave his head, film is directed by Erik Matti.
