Veteran actor Albert Martinez and young star Faith da Silva are rumored to be in a relationship.
Martinez, 60, and da Silva, 20, are currently working on GMA Network’s upcoming GMA teleserye Las Hermanas.
Veteran columnist Lolit Solis believes that the two are already in a relationship.
She posted on Instagram that two trusted tabloids already confirmed Martinez and da Silva’s relationship.
Solis also said that despite Martinez and da Silva’s 40-year age gap, their relationship is still acceptable as they are both single.
“Headline mo Salve na open na ang relasyon nila Albert Martinez at Faith Silva sa PSN at PM. At dahil never nagkaruon ng fake news ang 2 tabloids, marami agad ang nag-react dahil nga sa 40 years halos ba age gap nila.
“Wala naman masama kung sakali at magsama ang dalawa dahil pareho naman single,” said Solis.

Martinez was married to Liezl Sumilang in 1985 until she died in 2015.
Speculations about Martinez and da Silva’s relationship first started after the Take It …. Per Minute, Me Ganun! hosts Lolit Solis, Cristy Fermin, and Mr. Fu, discussed a blind item about the romance developed between a seasoned actor and a young star during lock-in taping.
Mr. Fu then mentioned that this blind item couple has already made their relationship official.
This blind item couple was speculated of being Martinez and da Silva.
“Pero ang balita ngayon, ang follow-up story eh mukhang lantaran na, mukhang sila na. Parang sila na talaga itong si Veteran actor at ang baguhang actress.”
Mr. Fu also revealed that the rumors about the young actress didn’t come as a surprise, given her history of relationships with older men.
