Fresh from the success of “Everyday I love You” wherein he starred with Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, the LizQuen love team, Gerald Anderson is back to shooting another romantic movie.
This time he will be cast with two beautiful actresses, Arci Muñoz and Jane Oineza, in a movie titled “Always Be My Maybe” under Star Cinema.
Gerald is undoubtedly proud of this movie and has posted behind-the-scenes photos on his Instagram account.
His love interest in the film, Arci Muñoz, is excited about doing her first film with Gerald. She told PUSH.com in an interview by Rhea Manila Santos last January 14, 2016, “”I’m just excited to work with Gerald. And he’s my dad’s favorite (actor) so when I told my dad he was really happy.”
Arci feels blessed to be part of another Star Cinema offering. After a special participation in a “A Second Chance” and as part of the supporting cast in “Etiquette for Mistresses”, Arci is ecstatic to be in a lead role, this time. She said that she would be playing the role of a make-up artist who will get involved with a guy in some sort of an undefined, (some call it unlabeled) but loving relationship. This sort of relationship is now currently the fad in films and probably in real life, too.
Actress-singer Jane Oineza joins Gerald and Arci in the film. Her presence in the movie makes it all the more interesting. Her role in the film is unclear. But with Jane’s acting skills which had been recognized here and abroad, she will make surely make a great contribution to the success of “Always Be My Maybe”.
The movie is scheduled for release post-Valentine though, so lovers will have to choose another date movie to celebrate the day of hearts.
“Always Be My Maybe” is under the direction of Dan Villegas, the famed director who’s responsible for critically acclaimed and box office hits such as “English Only, Please”, “The Breakup Playlist”, and “Walang Forever”.
