Nadine Lustre is set to star in one of Viva Entertainment’s upcoming projects after the latter sued the former for breach of contract.
Monday, October 25, the filmmaker Yam Laranas shared a series of screenshots of a virtual script reading featuring Lustre, Diego Loyzaga, and Epy Quizon on Instagram.

Laranas did not disclose any other details regarding the upcoming project.
In 2009, Lustre signed a contract with Viva Artists Agency. She has appeared on GMA and TV5 Network shows such as ‘Bagets: Just Got Lucky,’ ‘SOP Rules,’ and ‘P.S. I Love You.’
Lustre’s being the lead of Viva Films’ romance movie titled ‘Diary ng Panget’ (2014), a film adaptation of the popular Wattpad novel, marks her breakthrough in showbiz.
She has also appeared in popular television series such as ‘On the Wings of Love’ (2015) and ‘Till I Met You’ (2016).
Lustre tried to leave the Viva Artists Agency, but her attempt failed.
In December 2020, Viva Artists Agency filed a case against Lustre’s unilateral abrogation of her contract.
In August 2021, Viva Artists Agency revealed that Nadine Lustre already talked to them after they sued the latter for breach of contract. So now, the two parties are on good terms.
“In a few weeks, we will be presenting Nadine some projects that she may want to consider doing for us—movie projects with Viva Max, for the cinema. We are sitting down soon… asked as to come up with ideas and concepts that we can present to her. We are very excited about it, the opportunity to work with her again,” Mr. Vincent Del Rosario announced.
