During the finale press conference of “On The Wings of Love” held at ABS-CBN Studio 4 last February 15, 2016 Nadine was able to expressed her opinion as well as defend James Reid on the controversial issue about the Viva heartthrob.
It can be seen on the photo below that Nadine carries bags and her other things while James hold nothing but his mobile phone while they were in the escalator last Valentine’s Day at Rockwell Power Plant Mall after they enjoyed shopping for computer games instead of having a friendly dinner date because their preferred restaurant is jam-packed with customers.
The photo of these on-screen partners was uploaded by JaDine Addicts on Twitter, some fans were got too emotional and feminist upon seeing the photo.
The first commentator even said “A man knows when a woman needs help and a woman knows when to ask help.”
On the press conference last Feb 15, 2016, Nadine told the press that she really don’t mind if she carries all of her things, it’s definitely fine to her because it’s not really heavy.
The “On The Wings of Love” leading lady reiterated on how she handles herself even when her personal assistant is not around. “I carry my stuff, I drive so it’s really nothing to me if I carry those things during the Valentine’s Day,” Nadine explained.
When PEP staff asked if James did not offered to help her, she immediately response and acknowledge James for asking her to help but then she insisted to carry her own things.
It was recalled, on February 19, 2012 and September 8, 2012 Nadine tweeted about women who asked their man to carry their bag, according to the Kapamilya actress it really looks weird.
For now, let us not judge James and Nadine. They are just people like us who’d like to have some fun during their free day.
James and Nadine would not be able to maintain their love tandem until now; if either of the two has attitude problem in the first place.
