Star Cinema’ post-Valentine movie “Always Be My Maybe” has earned more than ₱8 million on its opening day on Wednesday (February 24), as revealed by Star Cinema’s official Instagram account.
Directed by Dan Villegas, the latest movie featuring today’s Kapamilya hottest stars, Gerald Anderson and Arci Muñoz opened in over 160 cinemas nationwide after a star-studded premiere last night, February 23. This is the first time fans will see Gerald and Arci in an unexpected movie project.
“Always Be My Maybe” tackles a prevalent setup in relationships these days: the no-label kind, as more and more people seem afraid to commit. They are represented by Gerald (Jake) and Arci’s (Tintin) characters, who both came from failed relationships.
Things will take an unexpected turn in their lives when they meet and help each other forget their exes. In losing the pain, will they find a love that’s for always in each other? Or will things remain just “maybe”?
