On January 19, Kapamilya artist-singer Alexa Ilacad admitted that she went through heartbreak while inside the Pinoy Big Brother House.
During the media conference for her newest single, Paano, Ilacad recalled going through something sad while inside the PBB House.
“Huling nakaranas? Was siguro–it was inside the PBB House. Not naman heartbreak talaga, but may napagdaanan din inside that made me sad, love wise.”
She then noted that she’s a strong girl and chose to move on from her experience.
“I’m a strong girl. So when I chose to move on, I really moved on. And I always try to be the better person na lang in all situations.”
She added that she talked it over with the person she was referring to, noting that they wanted to forge their connection ‘organically’ outside the PBB house.
“So in that matter, okay naman kami nung tao. We talked it out, we were able to settle everything. And we’re working–we tried to work it out here sa outside world. So it’s all good naman. It just really didn’t take off sa loob ng bahay kasi baka we didn’t want it na dala lang ng pressure, dala ng tukso, tukso ng ibang tao. We wanted it come organically.”
When asked about the state of her heart now, if it was happy now, Ilacad said, “Yes, very.”
Ilacad then revealed writing a song about unconditional love while inside the PBB House.
“Actually nagawa ko na po siya. It’s about unconditional love. I called it ‘Kasi Kung Kahit.’ I’m not really singing it yet, or anything–it was just something I wrote inside the PBB house.”
Ilacad received sympathy from netizens after her and fellow ex-housemate Eian Rances’s confrontation inside the PBB House. It stemmed from Rances’ belief that Ilacad wanted to form a love team with him.
