Kapuso artist Faith Da Silva said she doesn’t want to compete with Klea Pineda in beauty pageants.
During the media conference on February 14 for her GMA Playlist song release Sana Sabihin Mo Na Lang, she expressed her interest in joining beauty pageants once she had enough training.
“Hindi ko po masasabi na next year, but you know sinabi ko nga po na kapag nag-join na ako, I want to make sure that I am 100% ready, nakapag-train na ako for everything. Excited ako for that journey pero hindi ko siya minamadali. I want to take my time.”
When asked about her thoughts on her fellow StarStruck alumna Klea Pineda’s interest in participating in beauty pageants, she doesn’t want to compete with her, given that they already did that in the Kapuso reality TV show.
“I would rather not na magkasabay kami kasi alam niyo ‘yon. Parang sa StarStruck na nga nagkaroon na kami ng ganong competition, ayaw ko naman po din pati dito magkakaroon ng ganon. Siguro magkaibang time na lang kami.”
In August 2021, Pineda clarified that she skipped the Miss Universe Philippines pageant because she prefers being 100% prepared before joining the competition.
