On February 22, Kapamilya artists Alexa Ilacad and KD Estrada reacted to their fans’ support and their sold-out concert event, Closer: The KDLex Fancon.

During the media conference for Closer: The KDLex Fancon, Estrada said he didn’t expect the amount of overwhelming support for his pairing with Ilacad.

“I didn’t expect that much support–like after we got out of the house. I didn’t think that we would be loved that much. Because of our nominations and stuff–because of how [many times] we got ‘nominated’ inside the house.”

He then recalled the several instances that his and Ilacad’s supporters saved them from getting evicted from the Pinoy Big Brother house.

“But I [kind of] felt it while [I was] inside the [PBB] house when I kept getting saved. So we must be doing something right.

“It turns out the viewers did relate a lot to us, and they really did like our bonding, they really did like our jamming, and ayun, I feel super grateful and super blessed to have this support talaga.”

Ilacad agreed with Estrada, noting that they were overwhelmed with the amount of support from their fans.

“Honesty, being inside the house, we had no–zero idea on how things are outside. I’ll always say po na may nanonood kaya? Kasi wala kaming idea talaga, I don’t feel anything, so of course, when we got out, it was really like overwhelming talaga.”

She said she felt lucky and blessed because of the opportunities she and Estrada received as a love team.

“Up to this day, there are times that we get a bit overwhelmed, tapos we ask ourselves, ‘Wow, what did we do to deserve this much love from such great people.’ It’s really overwhelming. We feel so lucky, we feel so blessed, sa totoo lang na we got such great blessings pagkalabas namin ng bahay ni Kuya.”

KDLEX (KD-Alexa) trended on social media even before Ilacad and Estrada’s exit from Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10.

SVIP and VIP tickets for their concert event got sold out within an hour after they became available.

Estrada reacted to their sold-out for the concert and thanked their supporters who purchased tickets for the event.

“I was like, ‘Okay, O-okay.’ But ayun nga thank you everyone. I’m super thankful for everyone that bought tickets SVIP and VIP tickets. Even the Gen Ad ones.”

KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad get close and personal with fans in Closer: The KDLex Fancon. Their concert event happens on Saturday (February 26) at 8 pm via KTX and SKY Pay-Per-View.
