Via a tweet on Sunday, April 24, Pokwang reacted to Atty. Larry Gadon’s ‘bobo’. statement.
During their sortie on Saturday, April 23, the senatorial candidate of the UniTeam gained controversy after criticizing the persons who attended the sortie of a different party.
“Hindi kayo bobo kasi ‘yong mga bobo nasa Roxas Boulevard,” he said.
Netizens assumed that he was about the sortie of presidential candidate Leni Robredo and vice-presidential candidate Kiko Pangilinan. However, it was held on Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City and not on Roxas Boulevard.
Pokwang wrote, “Dear Mr. Larry Gadon wala po sa Roxas Boulevard ang rally kagabi for VP Leni’s birthday, nasa Macapagal Boulevard po hahahahaha so sino po ngayon ang??????”

Gadon has not made any reactions following this.
On Wednesday, March 23, Pokwang hit back at bashers who criticized her for supporting the Leni-Kiko tandem. Pokwang said they should support artists backing up their preferred candidates instead of bashing them.
