Dawn Chang indirectly called out Ella Cruz following the latter’s viral statement about history being synonymous with gossip.
To recall, Ella Cruz tweeted on July 2 that history is filtered with other details over time made it seem like a gossip that is passed on.
“History is like tsismis. It is filtered and dagdag na rin, so, hindi natin alam what is the real history. Andoon na iyong idea, pero may mga bias talaga. As long as we’re here, alive at may kanya-kanyang opinion, I respect everyone’s opinion,” said Cruz.
Her tweet went viral as netizens pointed out the huge difference between history and a gossip. The actress eventually deleted her tweet.
In Dawn Chang’s tweet on July 3, she shared her thoughts on the importance of studying the past. Accordingly, her tweet was her response to Cruz’s statement about history.
