Ruru Madrid’s former leading ladies Kylie Padilla and Gabbi Garcia welcomed the Kapuso actor’s return on GMA Telebabad.
On July 5, Bolera star Padilla and Love You Stranger star Garcia extended their congratulations to Madrid for his return to primetime.
“Hi Ru! Gusto lang kitang i-congratulate. Ito na ang matagal mong pinaghirapan. Talagang minahal mo ‘tong project na ‘to,” Padilla said.
“Sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Lolong, from the cast, from the production, from the crew, congratulations po sa inyong lahat,” Garcia shared.
Padilla became Madrid’s leading lady in Encantadia and GMA Public Affairs series titled Toda One I Love.
While Madrid was Garcia’s leading man in GMA Public Affairs series titled Nako, Boss Ko! and other primetime shows such as Encantadia, Let the Love Begin, at Sherlock Jr.
On July 4, the adventure series titled Lolong premired on GMA Telebabad.
Lolong follows the story of a teenager who can quickly heal himself and talk to Dakila, a massive crocodile.
Dakila is the gigantic 22-foot animatronic and Computer-generated imagery (CGI) crocodile that was used during the production of the series.
“I just want to ibalik sa GMA ‘yung trust na binigay nila sa akin dito sa project na ito…Gusto kong patunay sa kanilang lahat na deserve ko ‘tong role na ‘to.”
Madrid promised he will give his best for the success of the project.
Lolong was first announced in 2019 but had a slow start and progress due to the rise of a pandemic. Now, the lock-in taping is temporarily suspended as the third season of the Enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) hits the National Capital Region (NCR).
