On July 22, Kapuso star Sanya Lopez hinted at an upcoming Kapuso project with an actor from a different network.
At the media conference for her single Hot Maria Clara, Lopez gave clues about the star she would be working with within her upcoming Kapuso project.
“Opo, opo ibang iba po ito. So maganda po ito, maganda po ‘yung story niya, ‘yun po baka gawin na po namin ito ng August or September po.
“Bawal pa raw po. Hindi pa po, nagkita po kami before. Wala po doon, nasa kabila po. Hindi po siya lilipat. Alam ko naman po parang may collab po, di ba po nauuso na ‘yung collaboration with GMA and sa ibang mga networks so, ayun po happy naman po ako.”
As for First Lady having a Book 3, Lopez stated that she’s open to the possibility of working on the next season of the hit Kapuso series.
“Marami po ang nagre-request ng Book 3 po, nakakatuwa nga kasi kahit nga noong Book 2, parang nandoon na agad sila sa Book 3 eh. Pero, kung ibibigay nga po sabi ko nga po sa kanila, kung ibibigay po, tanggapin natin, blessing po ‘yun.”
As for her possible appearance in GMA Network’s Sang’gre, Lopez implied that the series would continue the storylines from the 2016 fantasy teleserye, Encantadia.
“Ang Sang’gre po kasi siyempre nakabase pa rin ‘yan sa Encantadia, so nandiyan pa rin at baka diyan pa natin mapanood si Ice Queen, so hindi rin natin alam. Kung nandyan ang Sang’re sigurado kami ang Encantadia ay nandiyan pa rin. Baka nandoon ang apat na brilyante at malalaman natin kung ano nangyari sa amin doon kung wala man kami doon. So doon magkakaalaman.”
Lopez‘s first breakout role was with the retelling of the Kapuso fantasy series Encantadia wherein she portrayed the role of Danaya.
She then starred in various GMA Network series such as First Yaya and First Lady.
Meanwhile, Sanya’s Hot Maria Clara, under GMA Music, is already streaming on digital music platforms starting July 15, 2022.
