On July 22, The Clash Season 4 Winner Mariane Osabel revealed she has plans to pursue an acting career as a Kapuso.
At the media conference for her debut single, Pirapiraso, Osabel said she’s open to being a Kapuso artist, confirming that she’s already taking up acting workshops.
“Open naman po ako sa acting. Actually, nag-join na po ako ng acting workshop, last March lang po ata ‘yun pero virtual lang ata ‘yun.
“And hopefully, makapagjoin din po ako face-to-face sa acting workshop kasi siguro mas exciting ‘yun, mas challenging, kasi nga po I have to act po. Pero, mas challenging po talaga ang virtual workshop, honestly.”
She also expressed her hopes of landing Kapuso teleserye projects.
“Opo syempre, open po ako sa mga ganyan, and nag-join na po ako ng workshops and hopefully, soon, makasali na po ako sa face-to-face na acting workshops, parang tuloy-tuloy po ‘yung pag-iimprove ng skills ko sa acting.
“And ayun, sana po, hopefully, mabigyan ako ng chance, pagkakataon na maging part ng isang teleserye.”
She then admitted that she got culture-shocked with the showbiz industry.
“Ngayon po nakakapag-adjust naman po ako. Dati, parang na ano po ako noon eh, na-culture shock kasi hala ganito pala ‘yung lifestyle sa Manila. Kasi dito po sa Iligan, parang slow life lang po dito, parang kung ano ‘yung gusto mong puntahan mabilis ka lang darating.
“Sa Manila naman, kailangan mo talagang mag-effort. And sa career naman, nakakapag-adjust naman po ako. And sobrang happy ko po dahil may mga friends din po ako sa Queendom and sa All-Out Sundays.”
Osabel won the fourth season of GMA Network’s The Clash in March 2022 and signed a contract as a Kapuso.
She then started performing every Sunday alongside Kapuso Queendoms at the Kapuso Sunday noontime show, All-Out Sundays.
As for her music, Osabel released her first single, Pirapiraso, under GMA Music.
