Since “Encantadia” fails big time to deliver the much expected ratings from them – elevate the GMA Telebabad on at least AGB Nielsen’s ratings, many were thinking that Dingdong Dantes’s upcoming series on GMA Network will serve as Kapuso’s next bet to rival the #1 Most Watched TV program in the Philippines, Coco Martin’s “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
Inspired by the hit Hollywood series “Arrow,” the cameras will soon roll for GMA Network’s upcoming action drama with the working title of “Alyas Robin Hood.” Joining Dingdong Dantes in this upcoming primetime series are Megan Young and Andrea Torres as her leading ladies with Jaclyn Jose, Sid Lucero and Paolo Contis.
GMA Network will also be getting Dominic Zapata, who helmed the previous Kapuso action shows including “Darna,” “Captain Barbell,” Sugo,” “Zaido,” among others.
Just like before, will there be an action versus action rivals soon on TV? It will be nice to see who’s really supreme since Dingdong is GMA Network’s Primetime King while Coco Martin is Philippine TV’s Primetime King…. We’ll see…
