I know, there’s a lot of fans who wants Jake Ejercito to play the role of Matteo Do, opposite to Jennylyn Mercado’s character Steffi Cheon, on GMA Network’s Pinoy adaptation of hit Koreanovela “My Love From the Star.”
Unfortunately, Jake was quick to clarify the issue. “Just to put an end to some speculations and outrageous comments, I am not doing a TV show anytime soon ✌🏻️,” he tweeted.
Playing the lead role in “My Love From The Star” should have been a great break but his priority is his studies. He added, “Nothing against the people behind the show though! It’s just that my school sched won’t permit me to do anything time-consuming :)”
Four months ago, GMA Network announced that Alden Richards will play the Matteo Do until lately, he was rumored to do another series with Maine Mendoza and Jennylyn will have a new leading man other than Alden.
So there’s nothing final yet? We’ll see…
