On February 25, Kapuso artists Althea Ablan and Shayne Sava reacted to getting dubbed as the new ‘Princesses of Kapuso Drama.’

At the media conference for their upcoming Kapuso series, AraBella, Sava appreciated that people considered her one of the new Kapuso Drama princesses.

“Actually po, until now, sobrang nakakataba ng puso kasi na-appreciate po nila ‘yung ginagawa mo and sobra po nilang nakikita ‘yung talent mo and naniniwala po sila sa kakayahan mo and sa abilidad mo.

“And siyempre po, hearing po na parang ‘Prinsesa ng Drama’ ngayon, like sobra po talagang nakakataba ng puso. And at the same time, I am very, very thankful po for trusting me and believing sa akin.”

Ablan felt gratitude for the praise, promising they would give their 100% best in their roles.

So very thankful po ako.

She also acknowledged the pressure that comes with the distinction of her being one of the new Kapuso Drama Princess.

Sava insisted they would use the pressure to motivate themselves to improve their acting.

So ayun po.”

As for their series, AraBella stars Althea Ablan, Shayne Sava, and Camille Prats.

The cast also features Abdul Raman, Saviour Ramos, Klea Pineda, Mitzi Josh, Faye Lorenzo, Alfred Vargas, Wendell Ramos, and Nova Villa.

Under the direction of Adolfo Alix Jr, AraBella airs starting March 6 on GMA Afternoon Prime.
