Reel and real-life couple Tommy Esguerra and Miho Nishida, also dubbed as ‘ToMiho,’ topbill their first “Ipaglaban Mo” episode this Saturday (Oct 1) to tell the story of a woman who fights for her child’s rights.
Bessy (Miho) works as a waitress in a steakhouse owned by Matthew’s (Tommy) family. Matthew, who is an American citizen, has always been smitten with Bessy. Unfortunately, Bessy already fell in love with American soldier Jeremy even before he can tell her what he truly feels.
Bessy and Jeremy live under one roof with their baby. Everything seem to be going well in her life until Jeremy goes to the U.S. and fails to come back.
How will Bessy chase after Jeremy? What will Matthew do to help Bessy? Is she ready to open her heart for new love?
“Ipaglaban Mo” is currently celebrating its second year on air. Since the show premiered on ABS-CBN in 2014, the show has been consistently captivating viewers in its timeslot because of its timely and relevant stories that not only showcase good values, but also informs viewers of their rights.
