It’s Showtime‘s child star Kulot made the rounds online after the emotional dialogue with her father in the show.
Kulot has been trending online for a while now for her funny and witty stories. She even shared the story about her father, who always texts someone on his phone.
In It’s Showtime‘s live episode on March 27, TV host Vice Ganda interviewed Kulot’s parents, who were a part of the audience.
Kulot’s parents assured her they’re on good terms with each other. They even shared a hug.
But Kulot remained skeptical and claimed that her father would still text a woman named Barbie on his phone.
Vice Ganda then noticed that Kulot seemed teary-eyed. When the TV host asked about it, Kulot shared her doubts about her father’s loyalty.
“Madami pa rin hong ka-text ‘yan,” said Kulot.
When Vice Ganda asked about Kulot’s affection toward her father, the child star said that she loves her father.
But Kulot refused to tell her father the words ‘I love you.’ At this point, a tear rolled down Kulot’s cheek.
Kulot’s father then shared how proud he is of her and expressed his love to her.
Vice Ganda then urged Kulot to hug her father, but the child star refused.
The conversation went viral online as netizens sympathized with Kulot. They were sad that the child was carrying something painful at such a young age.

The way I see it, Kulot's tears screams a child's trauma from witnessing her dad cheating on her mom. Not saying I love you to him may also mean I don't want you to do that again. #showtimesummertime

Maybe #ShowtimeSummertime could benefit from getting in touch with #MHProfessionals to be able to minimize the further exploitation of these children. These children are being themselves and they become marketing of these shows, and for what? https://t.co/KxTpVxn6Ya

#ShowtimeSummertime
