When the newest GMA Network sitcom, Open 24/7, starring Vic Sotto, Maja Salvador, and Jose Manalo, got announced, many wondered how Wally Bayola reacted to not being included in the show.
“Sabi naman ni Wally, alam namin kung paano pinagpapalitan kami ni Bossing,” answered Manalo during the press conference for the show on May 8, when asked about Wally’s reaction.
He highlighted how Wally, himself, and the other Dabarkads are in the rotation when working with Bossing Vic Sotto’s film and TV projects.
Manalo also clarified that there is no issue between them, stating, “So wala naman kaming problema doon, as long as parehong kaming may trabaho kay Bossing.”
When asked why he accepted the role in Open 24/7, Manalo jokingly replied, “Gipit,” but then continued, “Hindi, siyempre si Bossing naman at M-Zet, hindi naman pwedeng tumanggi.”
“M-Zet yan, dito ako nagsimula, lahat ng ginawa kong sitcom, kay Bossing din, syempre wala tayong karapatan tumanggi,” he added.
GMA Network will start airing its brand new sitcom, Open 24/7, on May 27 on GMA.
The show features the on-screen comedic collaboration of Bossing Vic Sotto as Boss EZ, the multi-talented actress Maja Salvador as Mikaela, Jose Manalo as Spark, Sparkle Sweethearts Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay as Kitty and Al, and Sparkle artists Riel Lomadilla as Bekbek, Anjay Anson as Andoy, Kimson Tan as Kokoy, Abed Green as Fred, and Bruce Roeland as Doe.
