On May 31, actor Arron Villaflor discussed the challenges of doing “sexy” scenes.
At the media conference for ‘Hilom’, which LionhearTV covered, Villaflor highlighted the challenges actors face when doing “sexy” scenes.
Villaflor shared, “Mahirap, mahirap siyang gawin. You also have to consider your partner. Kasi if she’s comfortable dumikit, at dahil nakahubad kami, we– I’m just with my plaster for the entire sexy scene.”
Villaflor noted how the challenges impacted his mindset coming onto the scene.
He then commended the actors who did intimate scenes. He said, “….saludo ako sa mga gumagawa ng mga sexy scene kasi for you to interact with your co-actor, medyo tricky ‘yun eh, especially kung bago ‘yung artista din. Kailangan mong iparamdam sa kaniya ‘yung safety, tsaka ‘yung ambience, ‘yung vibe ng shoot ninyo na everything’s okay.”
However, he pointed out how intimate scenes would showcase his acting ability. Despite his age, at 33, he finds “sexy scenes” very challenging. He is very proud that he did his part very well, especially the challenging parts.
He then voiced his interest in stories similar to his upcoming film. He declared, “I’m hunting for a story talaga, like ‘yung may ano sa puso. So hopefully, magtuloy-tuloy itong Hilom.”
Villaflor stars in Hilom with Christine Bermas, Julia Victoria, Alma Moreno, Billy Villeta, TJ Valderama, Kedebon Colim, Kyo Quijano, Lara Morena, Liz Alindogan, Apple Castro, Cathy Ashley, Shiela Snow, and Chariz Po.
‘Hilom,’ directed by multi-genre filmmaker GB Sampedro, will be released on June 9 by Vivamax.
