TVJ’s ‘E.A.T. Bulaga’ seemed to find new vigor following the Intellectual Property Office’s decision to give them the right to the “Eat Bulaga” trademark. This after the noontime show scored a 5-day winning streak in the ratings game, according to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey.

Starting on Monday, December 4, ‘E.A.T. Bulaga’ claimed the 15th spot on the overall rating chart, securing a 3.6 percent rating. This surpassed TAPE Inc.’s ‘Eat Bulaga!’ which scored 3.1 percent and placed ‘It’s Showtime’ in third with a rating of 2.8 percent.

On Tuesday, December 5, the TVJ noontime show continued its ascent with a 0.1 percent increase, reaching a 3.7 percent rating. Once again, it outperformed its rival, ‘Eat Bulaga!’ (3.5 percent) and ‘It’s Showtime’ (2.8 percent).

Midweek on Wednesday, December 6, ‘E.A.T. Bulaga’ achieved another significant gain, surging by 1.3 percent to reach a 5.0 percent rating. This left ‘Eat Bulaga!’ trailing by 1.2 percent at 3.8 percent, with ‘It’s Showtime’ maintaining its third position at 2.8 percent.

Although ‘E.A.T. Bulaga’ experienced a slight dip on Thursday, December 7, securing a 4.3 percent rating, it still maintained a lead over ‘Eat Bulaga!’ (3.3 percent) and ‘It’s Showtime’ (2.8 percent).

Closing the week on Friday, December 8, ‘E.A.T. Bulaga’ maintained its strong 4.3 percent ratings with ‘Eat Bulaga!’ trailing at 3.8 percent, and ‘It’s Showtime’ is improving to a 3.5 percent rating.
