On February 10, artist-model Maureen Wroblewitz detailed her nerve-wracking experience with her first acting project.
At the Philippine screening of Take Me to Banaue, which LionhearTV covered, Wroblewitz remarked how much she wanted to pursue acting even at a young age.
“It was my first time acting really and of course, it was nervewracking. But I have been wanting to act since– I feel like my whole life. And it’s the first time that people are actually seeing my work.”
She then emphasized how nerve-wracking it was for her, especially when they began the screenings for their movie.
“So today is very nerve-wracking because when we were doing the screenings in the US, you know, there are a lot of people–[and] it was the first time with family and friends, so it’s exciting but very, very nerve-wracking.”
She then discussed what it was like working with her co-star and their director.
“Oh, he’s amazing–he has a lot of acting experience, at least from [even] before. And I think we got along, and we were friends. And before every scene, we talked things out and figured it out together. So, it was actually a lot.
“Actually, with the director, as well. We had a lot of good collaboration.”

The cast also features MJ Lastimosa, Archi Adamos, Megan Guthrie, Glenn Franklin, Norman ‘Boobay’ Balbuena, Hilliard Paul Puguon, Lorian Fausto, and Paul Frohlich.
