February 14 was quite a busy day for Soberano and his rumored boyfriend Enrique Gil. The reel couple toured Cebu as part of their mall shows to promote their blockbuster film “My Ex and Whys.”
A video went viral, days after their SM Seaside mall show, showing an astonished fan girl running toward Soberano. The fan was so excited to the point that an SM bouncer had to grab her.
Unsurprisingly, Soberano came to the rescue as she hold the bouncer and said “okay lang, okay lang”—signaling she’s okay to take a photo with the fan—although the host of the event was calling her and Gil.
Netizens applauded Soberano’s kindness towards her fan, describing how beautiful and thoughtful she is despite being famous.
A fan named Michelle Gadbilao said Soberano should be a role model for all girls, instead of focusing to being sexy.
Other netizens also expresses their envy over the fan girl’s interaction with Soberano and Gil, saying how lucky she was by taking a selfie with the kindhearted actress.
