Host Vice Ganda couldn’t help but to express his gratitude for people who made “It’s Showtime” lead the noontime block on Saturday.
Based on Kantar Media, the grand finals of Tawag ng Tanghalan was able to get a nationwide rating of 33.6%. Meanwhile, its rival show “Eat Bulaga” registered a national rating of 11.7%.
The unkabogable host wrote on his Twitter, “Hindi ako madalas magpost ng ratings pero this time gusto ko lang talagang magpasalamat sa inyong lahat for the 33.6% rating ng TnT Finals.”
Others were skeptical about the rating of “It’s Showtime” last Saturday. Some netizens even labeled Kantar Media as KANTARantaduhan, expressing their disbelief over their data provided.
But, even on AGB Nielsen, “It’s Showtime” emerged as the winner after garnering a rating of 23.1% versus “Eat Bulaga’s” 15.7%.
