Popsters really want to see their idols Sarah Geronimo wearing the red-and-gold costume. But for Sarah Geronimo, the role of Darna will require so much responsibilities.
In an interview with the reporters in March 24, the Popstar Royalty said she doesn’t have the figure to do the costume justice.
The 28-year-old quipped, “Wala akong boobs, ano’ng magagawa natin?”
She insisted that the role of Darna is too iconic to be portrayed by her.
“Matagal ko na po iyang sinasabi na hindi talaga iyon para sa akin kasi iconic ‘yung role,” she said.
“But more than that, ang daming responsibilities na nakaakibat sa pagiging Darna. So medyo naka-focus lang din ng unti na ang inaabangan iyong naka-two piece, iyong physique. Parang hindi talaga po para sa akin.”
Sarah then continued, “Pero nagpapasalamat naman ako at flattered naman ako na may mga kino-consider ako.”
As of now, Popsters can look forward to Sarah’s other projects such as her comeback show “The Voice Teens” and a reunion film with John Lloyd Cruz.
