GMA Network’s first-ever Viu Original series, ‘Slay’, is making waves as it prepares to premiere with two distinct versions—one for Viu Philippines and another for GMA Network’s television audience.

During a press event on Thursday, GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes confirmed that the highly anticipated series will have different endings, urging viewers to watch both versions.

“One version on Viu, one version on TV. Magkaiba ‘yung ending natin kaya kailangang abangan parehong versions,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Viu Philippines Head of Content Garlic Garcia teased the series as a campy, scandalous, and fiery drama, encouraging fans to experience Slay on both platforms.

“Be ready to slay! Watch it first on Viu. Starting March 3, mapapanood n’yo po nang libre. And then after three weeks, mapapanood po sa GMA,” Garcia shared.

The series will be headlined by powerhouse actresses Julie Anne San Jose, Gabbi Garcia, Mikee Quintos, and Ysabel Ortega.

Julie Anne San Jose expressed excitement over her role, calling it a fresh and challenging departure from her usual characters. Gabbi Garcia emphasized Slay’s unpredictability, highlighting its strong female leads. Mikee Quintos praised the positive working environment, noting the supportive and collaborative atmosphere among the cast. Ysabel Ortega hinted at the series’ dark themes, saying, “I love na we all look seemingly innocent pero may tinatago rin pala kaming mga sikreto.”

Joining the lead stars are Derrick Monasterio, Royce Cabrera, Jay Ortega, Gil Cuerva, Phoemela Barranda, Tina Paner, Chuckie Dreyfus, and Simon Ibarra.

The Viu-exclusive version of Slay will debut on March 3, 2025, while the GMA Network version will air three weeks later.
