Former AlDub love team partners Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza reunited at Maine’s 30th birthday celebration, much to the delight of their long-time fans.
The intimate gathering, attended by close friends and family, included Maine’s husband, Congressman Arjo Atayde, and several members of her ‘Eat Bulaga’ family, including Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna.
While the party was meant to celebrate Maine’s milestone birthday, Alden’s attendance sparked excitement among their fanbase, with many expressing their nostalgia for the once-beloved AlDub tandem.
This isn’t the first time Alden, Maine, and Arjo have been present at the same event. The trio previously attended the wedding of Jose Manalo and Mergene, although no public photos emerged of them together.
Similarly, at Maine’s birthday celebration, no official pictures of Alden, Maine, and Arjo as a group have surfaced, but reports confirm that Alden was indeed in attendance.

Despite Maine being happily married to Arjo, the AlDub Nation fanbase continues to reminisce about the chemistry she once shared with Alden onscreen.
Meanwhile, Alden’s rumored romance with Kathryn Bernardo has reportedly come to a halt.
According to Ogie Diaz’s vlog, Alden has stopped pursuing Kathryn, and their relationship has now settled into friendship.
“Ang alam ko, wala na talagang ligawan na nagpatuloy. Parang magkaibigan na lang sila,” Ogie stated.
While sources close to Alden say he had genuine admiration for Kathryn, it remains unclear why he decided not to continue his courtship.
Speculation arose that Daniel Padilla’s visit to Kathryn’s dressing room during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special in December played a role in Alden’s decision, but Ogie clarified that this was not the case.
“It has nothing to do with that, ‘yung pagdalaw ni DJ,” Ogie explained. “Sabi ng ka-close ni Kathryn, kinausap lang daw niya si DJ, pero walang hope na magkakabalikan.”
He further added that any “spark” between Kathryn and Daniel is now gone.
Despite moving on with their personal and professional lives, Alden and Maine’s brief reunion has once again rekindled interest in their former tandem. While fans continue to hope for a possible AlDub movie reunion, no official plans have been announced.
