Hit team-up of Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica via the Filipino remake of the toprating Korean drama “Coffee Prince,” which was aired in the Kapuso network on 2008 starring Yoon Eun-hye, Gong Yoo, Lee Sun-gyun and Chae Jung-an.
The Kapuso Network is entrusting this high profile project with the tested and proven team-up of Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica. Kris will play the role of Andie, a girl who was forced by circumstances to pretend as a guy, and Aljur will be the hot leading man who will face the dilemma of falling in love to what he perceived to be a man.
Directed by Ricky Davao, other stars included in this remake are Steven Silva and newest Kapuso star Benjamin Alves.
“Coffee Prince” will start taping by first week of September and will start airing on September 24 on GMA Network.
