BINI makes Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list

Filipino P-pop sensation BINI has earned a spot in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2025 list under the Entertainment & Sports category, becoming the only girl group to make the cut this year.

The recognition highlights the achievements of eight young women—Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Jhoanna, Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, and Stacey—for their growing impact on the Asian entertainment scene. BINI joins 300 other honorees from over 4,500 nominees across the Asia-Pacific region, including representatives from South Korea, Japan, India, China, and Australia.

In the Forbes feature, writers Rana Wehbe Watson and Ian Sayson traced BINI’s origins to ABS-CBN’s Star Hunt Academy, noting how the group emerged amid the network’s franchise loss and the pandemic. Despite these setbacks, the members adapted and persevered.

“At first, we were ignored, but then we noticed more public interest when we posted on social media,” shared Mikha.

Aiah added, “Our posts show who we really are, and that’s one reason our fans like us.”

Meanwhile, Colet emphasized how BINI’s music evolved alongside their growing fan base: “The growth of our songs reflects the growth of our fans.”

The group’s meteoric rise was further solidified when they surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, with hits like ‘Pantropiko’, ‘Salamin, Salamin’, and ‘Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi’ becoming Gen Z anthems.

The 2025 list also includes fellow Filipinos such as chess prodigy Daniel Quizon, illustrator Renren Galeno, urban farmer Anna Beatriz Suavengco, and entrepreneurs Ysabel Chua and Raya Buensuceso.

BINI is currently on the global leg of their ‘BINIverse’ world tour, with international stops in the UAE, UK, Canada, and the United States. The tour follows a record-setting launch concert at the Philippine Arena in February.
