Explosive fire balancing act and breathtaking backflip moves impressed viewers as JB Bangcaya and Jessie J advanced to the grand finals of ABS-CBN’s “Pilipinas Got Talent” Season 7 last Sunday (June 1).
Judge Eugene Domingo’s Golden Buzzer act JB Bangcaya, who stunned the judges and live audience with his awesome fire dance routine, topped the online voting with 64.15% and pushed through the show’s grand finals.
Meanwhile, Jessie J, who performed a dance act with a touching message about overcoming depression and astonishing backflip moves, took the second spot in the online voting with 14.42%.
Jessie J is also heading to the grand finals as “PGT” judges Eugene, Freddie M. Garcia, Kathryn Bernardo, and Donny Pangilinan unanimously voted for him over Dwyne Lopena, who placed third in the online voting with 7.80%.
JB and Jessie J have officially joined magician Ody Sto. Domingo and dance group Femme MNL in the grand finals of “PGT” Season 7.
Despite the rain, the six talented semifinalists showcased their best performances during the live episode shot in front of the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center, Sgt. Esguerra Ave, last Saturday (May 31). Hosts Melai Cantiveros and Robi Domingo shared that the contestants have levelled up their jaw-dropping acts for the live semi-finals.
More wonderful acts await viewers in the semifinals round as judges and online voters decide which talents will advance to the finals and get a chance to win the P2 million grand prize.
