Maja Salvador beats up enemies in heels in “Wildflower”

After her trending and well-lauded fight scenes last Monday (June 12) in “Wildflower,” Maja has spoken up about the struggles she went through to show that her character Ivy Aguas is not a woman to mess with.

“I’ve had action scenes in my past projects but so far, this is the toughest routine I did and I had to do it all in heels!” shared Maja. “If you really love your character and you are giving your 100% to the show, there is really nothing you cannot do even if it’s really hard.”

“I would like to thank our fight instructor for guiding me all throughout the scene and to my heels for not giving up on me,” she jokingly added.

When asked if she is open to doing more action projects, the “Wildflower” star fearlessly quipped, “Why not? Just like what Ivy Aguas said, ‘bring it on!’ I like doing challenging projects because I can explore myself further and see what else I can offer as an actress.”

More action and more fierceness is expected of Maja in “Wildflower” as the story heats up with Emilia’s (Aiko Melendez) evil plans to destroy Ivy. Will Emilia finally get the job done and kill Ivy?

Don’t miss “Wildflower,” weeknights before “TV Patrol” on ABS-CBN or ABS-CBN HD (SkyCable ch 167).
