Vice Ganda’s recent vlog titled ‘QUEERtuhan with Iyah Mina, Sassa Gurl, and Kaladkaren’ has gone viral—thanks in part to a now widely talked about blind item that many netizens believe refers to actor and now commercial pilot Xian Lim.

During the Pride Month-themed conversation, the It’s Showtime host opened up about his experiences with “queerbaiting,” a term defined by Kaladkaren in the vlog as “using the queer community for your own advantage without any authentic intention of helping it.”
Vice shared a personal story about an unnamed actor who, according to him, used their onscreen banter to gain popularity—only to later ignore him when fame arrived through a love team pairing with a popular actress.
“Sa Hurados table, ang dami kong naka-loveteam dun—basketball player, artista… Pero itong artistang ito… dikit-dikit siya, hinaharot-harot ako on air. So, loveteam-loveteam kami,” said Vice.
“Tapos ang liit ng following sa social media. In-introduce ko pa ‘yan sa Twitter. Dumadami ‘yung followers niya sa harut-harot naming dalawa. Pumutok talaga ‘yung pangalan niya.”
Vice continued that the actor later became part of a successful love team—and everything changed: “Nagkita kami sa isang event, birthday ng isang executive. Dumating siya kasama ‘yung sikat niyang ka-loveteam. Dinaanan lang ako. Hindi na ako pinapansin, hindi na ako tsinitsika.”
“Parang hindi kami naging friends man lang. Yung ganun. Ayun! Nalaos… nung nawala sa loveteam.”
Though Vice never dropped a name, many netizens were quick to connect the dots and point fingers at Xian Lim. Screenshots of old Twitter exchanges between Vice and Xian began resurfacing online, showing a previously warm rapport between the two.

Some fans also unearthed a past article quoting Xian allegedly denying having seen Vice at a particular birthday party—an event Vice specifically referenced in his anecdote.
Despite the buzz and renewed attention on social media, Xian Lim has remained silent on the issue. As of writing, no official statement has been made by the actor, who is reportedly focusing on his aviation career and film projects.

Online reactions remain divided—some siding with Vice for calling out what he described as performative allyship, while others defended Xian, questioning the timing and intent behind the revelation.
