Vice Ganda couldn’t help but get emotional during his return to ‘It’s Showtime’ on Saturday, July 26, after being away from the noontime show for several days.
Clearly overwhelmed with love, the Phenomenal Box Office Star took time to thank the live studio audience, hugging several fans and expressing how much he missed them.

“Thank you very much. It feels so good na pinili n’yo pa rin po kami na makita, mapanood, ma-experience. Ang sarap-sarap lang po sa pakiramdam,” he said.
In a heartfelt moment, Vice also opened up about a touching video he saw on TikTok that left a lasting impression on him.
“Kanina sa TikTok may napanood ako na hindi ko alam kung bakit ang lapit-lapit ko, at mahal na mahal ako ng mga special children,” Vice shared. “Special children who really choose to watch me and ang parents nila na ang pelikula ko ang pinapanood nila para mapakalma ang kanilang special kids.”
He added, “Hindi ko alam kung bakit n’yo ako pinapapasok sa mundo n’yo and I’m so grateful and I’m amazed, and I’m just so happy to be part of your world. Maraming salamat na napapasaya ko kayo diyan, and masarap sa pakiramdam na nakakapasok ako sa mundo ninyo.”
Vice continued by reflecting on how movies typically serve as a form of escape for many, but he was especially moved by how children with disabilities found comfort in his films.
“Ako talaga naa-amaze kasi normal na ‘yun sa atin, ‘di ba? Sa mundo natin. Marami ang nagsabing kaya gusto nila ang mga pelikula natin, kasi nagre-relax sila, nakatakas sila sa problema. Pero I’m just so amazed kung bakit ‘yung mga special children, pelikula ko ang gusto nilang tutukan para kumalma sila,” he said.
The comedian also thanked the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) for honoring him as one of the Box Office Heroes at the 8th EDDYS, alongside Alden Richards, Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia, Dennis Trillo, Ruru Madrid, Piolo Pascual, and Vic Sotto.
Meanwhile, Vice excitedly revealed that his upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 entry with Nadine Lustre is officially underway. Titled ‘Call Me Mother’, the project will reunite him with the team behind his previous hit ‘And The Breadwinner Is…’, directed by Jun Robles Lana.
Outside of ‘It’s Showtime’, Vice also brought joy to fans at Marco Sison’s Seasons of OPM concert at The Theater at Solaire on Friday night. His comedic flair and duet with Marco were crowd favorites, proving once again why he’s dubbed the Unkabogable Star.
The concert, which featured OPM legends Martin Nievera, Nonoy Zuñiga, and Rey Valera, was a hit despite the heavy rain, with Rey joking, “Dati ho lima kami… ngayon, tatlo na lang. Kaya ho naisip namin, palitan na ang pangalan—The Survivors!”
