Newlyweds Shaira Diaz and EA Guzman gave fans a peek into their married life during their guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk With Boy Abunda’ on Wednesday (August 20).
The couple, who tied the knot on August 14 in Silang, Cavite after 12 years together, gamely answered Boy Abunda’s spicy “married life” questions.
When asked whether they preferred the lights on or off during their intimate moments, Shaira laughed and eagerly responded: “Hala, pwede na sagutin! Lights off.”
Her candid answer drew a wide smile from EA, who couldn’t hide his amusement at his wife’s honesty.
The Sparkle actress has previously shared that one of her “best gifts” to EA was saving herself for marriage. The couple proudly revealed that throughout their 12-year relationship, they waited until their wedding before becoming physically intimate.
On the topic of starting a family, EA was straightforward in saying that they are not planning to have a baby yet.
“Gusto ko rin pong ma-enjoy ‘yung company naming dalawa as a married couple now,” Shaira added, saying they want to fully embrace their new chapter before diving into parenthood.
The couple emphasized the importance of being financially and emotionally prepared before raising a child.
“S’yempre kailangan naming paghandaan na ang baby. Mahal na ang magpaaral ngayon, magpalaki ng bata, so ayaw namin na mahirapan. Kailangan prepared po kami once na OK na ang lahat, nandun na,” Shaira explained.
EA and Shaira are set to fly to Switzerland for their honeymoon this September.
The actor remains a regular cast member of ‘Bubble Gang’, while Shaira continues to host ‘Unang Hirit’, Boy Abunda, who couldn’t attend their wedding, is among their godparents.
