The famed Bahay ni Kuya is opening its doors once again as ABS-CBN and GMA Network join forces for another historic season of ‘Pinoy Big Brother’.

On Monday, Sept. 29, the two networks officially announced ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0’, which will showcase a “new generation” of rising stars from their respective talent agencies, Star Magic and Sparkle.
“Mga Kapuso at Kapamilya, tara’t abangan ang mga new gen kabataang Pinoy from Sparkle and Star Magic this October,” the show’s official X (formerly Twitter) page teased, along with a sketch of the iconic yellow house marked “2.0.”
This new season puts the spotlight on Gen Z talents, described as “sikat na kabataang Pinoy,” making it a crossover between the show’s traditional Teen Edition and Celebrity Edition.
The announcement follows the success of ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’, which aired from March to July 2025 and marked the first-ever collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA Network for the long-running reality program.
That season introduced the duo format, where each housemate was paired with a counterpart from the rival network. The season concluded with Kapamilya actor-influencer Brent Manalo and Kapuso actress-content creator Mika Salamanca—collectively dubbed BreKa—becoming the franchise’s first-ever Big Winner duo.
Hosted by Bianca Gonzalez and Robi Domingo, ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ has long been a cultural touchstone in Philippine reality television, known for merging entertainment with social themes through its mix of tasks, challenges, and the ever-unpredictable “Kuya.”
The premiere date for ‘PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0’ is still under wraps, but fans can expect the new season to launch this October 2025.
