Former ‘Eat Bulaga’ host Anjo Yllana has launched a series of social media livestreams over the past few days, openly criticizing some of his former colleagues from the long-running noontime show and throwing direct challenges at Senate President Tito Sotto.

In one of his livestreams, Anjo called on Sotto to release proof that he had indeed donated his Senate salary to scholars — a promise Sotto made during his 2022 senatorial campaign.
Sotto, who at the time pledged to give away his salary for educational assistance, previously said during his campaign: “Kung papalarin ako na makabalik sa Senado, hindi ko kukunin ang aking suweldo.
During another livestream held on Sunday (November 2), Anjo intensified his statements, claiming that there were questionable activities within ‘Eat Bulaga’ and accusing unnamed individuals of operating like a “syndicate.”
Hoy, hindi ako takot sa TVJ, anong pinagsasabi ninyo?” he said, referring to Tito, Vic, and Joey (TVJ).
Anjo also mentioned the late ‘Eat Bulaga’ director Bert de Leon, alleging that he was “betrayed” by certain people from the show before his passing.
Oo, plinano. Kaya nga may sindikato diyan sa Eat Bulaga. Masasama ibang tao diyan.”
On Monday (November 3), Anjo went further, warning that he would expose Sotto’s alleged personal secrets if the senator’s supporters continued to attack him online.
As of this writing, Senate President Tito Sotto has dismissed the allegations and refused to engage further.
“Hindi ko na papatulan. Huwag niyong pansinin at nagpapapansin ‘yan,” Sotto told reporters. “Pati ba naman showbiz at paninira papatulan natin? Itaas natin ang level ng Senate press.”
LionhearTV remains open to the side of Tito Sotto, TVJ, and the current ‘Eat Bulaga’ management regarding the statements made by Anjo Yllana.
