Singer Kris Lawrence is not closing his doors on the possibility of rekindling his romance with former partner Katrina Halili, the mother of his daughter, Katie.
The admission came during their vlog titled ‘Lie Detector Test for Fun’ uploaded on Halili’s YouTube channel, where the former couple answered questions while holding a device that supposedly shocks the player who is lying.
One of the questions posed to them was: “Kung pareho pa kayong single 10 years from now, sa tingin n’yo ba may posibilidad pa rin na kayo pa rin ang magkatuluyan sa huli?”
Lawrence, who answered first, initially laughed at the question before giving a measured response.
“It’s too far in the future. Anything’s possible siguro… 10 years, we’re both single… if we’re both single… why not?”
As he took time to respond, the device reportedly registered a “lie” result even before he finished his answer.
When the same question was directed to Halili, she replied: “Hindi natin alam. Hindi natin alam kung anong puwedeng mangyari bukas or whatever. Hindi natin alam, hindi ko alam.”
Beyond the possibility of reconciliation, Lawrence also reflected on their past relationship, which lasted five years before they split in 2014. The former couple had even planned to get married prior to their breakup.
Asked whether he would still choose to enter the relationship with Halili if he knew it would eventually end, Lawrence answered without hesitation: “Siyempre… kasi if I didn’t, wala si Katie.”
In recent months, Lawrence and Halili have frequently appeared together in social media content, prompting renewed speculation among fans about a possible reconciliation.
