With his dashing looks and killer smile, it’s safe to say that Gil Cuerva has the potential to become the next Kapuso hearthrob.
In fact, according to some sources, GMA Network management has been very happy with Gil’s efforts to improve his craft ; requesting on a week’s worth of vacation after his debut teleserye “My Love From The Star” comes to a close.
Gil acknowledges that acting is a skill that comes with practice and good looks alone won’t be enough to make him thrive in the industry. He does not want to be part of the so-called, “ Machete School of Acting”, the term used for artists na “mukhang tuod kahit anong acting”.
Gil has been putting in his efforts on attending workshops and classes to improve. During interviews, he also talks about how his co-star Jennylyn Mercado and director Bb. Joyce Bernal helped him improve.
