Global fashion icon and actress Heart Evangelista expressed her support for rising star Caprice Cayetano, even naming her as her preferred choice to portray her younger self in a potential remake of the youth-oriented series ‘G-mik’.

During her guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, Evangelista was asked by host Boy Abunda who she would like to play her iconic character Missy Sandejas if the show were to be revived.
“If you’ll remake ‘G-mik,’ sinong gaganap na Miss [Sandejas]?” Abunda asked.
Without hesitation, Evangelista replied, “Caprice!”
Evangelista rose to fame as Missy in ‘G-mik’, which aired from 1999 to 2002, alongside fellow young stars including Camille Prats, Angelica Panganiban, Carlo Aquino, and her former love team partner John Prats.
The actress has previously expressed admiration for Cayetano, emphasizing the latter’s unique presence in the industry.
“She really has something very distinct about her and it’s once in a blue moon na may dumadating na mga ganyan sa industriya, and I think she’s one of them,” Evangelista said.
She also shared her openness to working with the young actress in future projects and even extended a heartfelt message of support.
“Caprice, call me if you need any clothes or anything you need to wear, Ate Heart is here. Kahit anong gusto mo, kung kailangan mo ng gown, nandito ako,” she added.
Cayetano, who rose to prominence after winning Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, expressed kilig upon hearing Evangelista’s message. She has also openly cited the actress as one of her inspirations in showbiz.
The two previously worked together in the GMA Network fantasy series ‘Mulawin vs Ravena’, which helped establish their connection in the industry.
Meanwhile, Evangelista recently returned to the Philippines after attending Milan and Paris Fashion Week, where she continues to be recognized as one of the country’s leading global fashion figures.
