Sue Ramirez admitted she could not help but feel kilig and starstruck while working with Rico Blanco in their upcoming romantic-comedy film ‘Project Baby’.

The actress shared during the film’s mediacon that she never imagined the former Rivermaya frontman would eventually become part of her filmography as her leading man.
According to Sue, she had to consciously calm herself down because of Rico’s presence on set.
She recalled trying to casually chat with the musician-actor first to make things less intimidating and to help them become more comfortable with each other while filming.
Sue also revealed that she became excited the moment she learned that Rico Blanco would be paired with her in the movie.
The actress even remembered seeing Rico at a mall before filming started, where they briefly greeted each other and talked about the upcoming project.
A longtime fan of Rico, Sue said her admiration goes beyond his music career.
According to the actress, she admires Rico’s acting talent, recalling how she used to watch the action-fantasy series ‘Lobo’ when she was younger, where Rico was also part of the cast.
Despite fans becoming curious about their scenes together after the trailer showed them lying in bed, Sue Ramirez refused to confirm whether they have kissing or intimate scenes in the movie.
When jokingly asked if she would consider having a baby with Rico if Dominic Roque were not in her life, Sue immediately answered: “Hindi ko iniisip na wala si Dominic sa buhay ko.”
The actress, who will turn 30 on July 20, also opened up again about wanting to become a mother someday.
“Matagal ko na siyang gustong mangyari for me. Kapag tinatanong ako ano bang gusto ko pang mangyari, parang nagawa ko na lahat. Pero gusto kong maging nanay,” she shared.
Sue admitted feeling some pressure because of her age and acknowledged the reality women face regarding fertility and time.
Still, she clarified that while she dreams of having a family, she remains busy with work for now.

In ‘Project Baby’, Sue plays Sandy, a woman determined to have a baby through a sperm donor arrangement with no strings attached.
The actress admitted that she once considered the idea of becoming a mother even without a partner, but her current perspective changed because of the relationship she now has.
“Makikita mo rin talaga iyon at mas mabubukas pa yung isip at puso mo sa possibility na I can still form a beautiful family,” she explained.
Directed by Eric Quizon and produced by Regal Entertainment, ‘Project Baby’ is written by Jose Javier Reyes and is scheduled to open in cinemas nationwide on June 10, 2026.
