YouTube vlogger Wil Dasovich revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer. He made this revelation in his latest YouTube video entitled, “The Doctor Finally Told Me (BAD NEWS).”
At the beginning of the video, Wil backtracked, and talked about how his YouTube career started and why he decided to stay in the Philippines, his mother’s home country.
He then revealed that the doctor called him with their diagnosis.
“The other day, I was diagnosed with cancer. As tough as it was for me to take that in, it’s not gonna stop me from having fun, being myself and continuing to do what makes me happy,” he said.
Wil experienced internal bleeding earlier this month which he also revealed on his YouTube channel. This made him decide to seek medical advice and flew back home to the United States.
Not specifying what cancer it was, Wil said that he will still continue vlogging despite his condition. He also expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him from the start.
“I would like to thank everyone for all the support and I truly love each and everyone of you. I am overwhelmingly grateful for helping me get to this point of my life and making it everything it was and making it everything it is.”
At the end of the video, the 25-year old Fil-Am YouTuber encouraged everyone to live life to the fullest, “If there’s one thing I want you to take away from this video, it’s to experience as much as possible.”
“It’s not the years in your life, but the life in your years that count,” Wil said.
