The AlDub tandem, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, already have their own launching movie and did great on the box-office. But one thing the fans are eagerly requesting to GMA Network: A teleserye for AlDub.
Just yesterday, GMA Films president Annette Gozon-Abrogar’s regular quote on Instagram became a thread for discussion regarding AlDub’s upcoming teleserye.
Some of the fans can’t help but bug the Kapuso executive. @gcrkipper said, “Thanks po for aldub movie. I hope magkaroon na tlga sila ng sariling twleserye or projects together soon.desrve po nila un.sayang nman if wala agad follow up e sobrang sikat po nung dalawa. I hope madinig po ang gma exec sa clamor ng mga tao.sayang po tlga @annettegozon .anyways good day po .”
Another fan @bellefire1015 commented, “@annettegozon .. Wag nyo po samang kalimutan kung anuman ang mga nagawa ng Aldub sa GMA.. Maging fair po sana kayo sa lhat ng talent nyo pra d sla lumilipat ng ibang network.. And sana lang phalagahan nyo rin ang hinaing at gusto ng nkakarami nyong viewer kc sila nman ang tlgang dahilan kung bkit hangang ngyon may GMA wag sana nyong ipagpilitan ang mga artista nyo na ayaw nman ng viewer dahil lang paborito nyo..”
Anette replied, “Just so the speculations don’t become blown out of proportion, here is the truth- We would want nothing more than to show an aldub soap opera in primetime. That is our priority and that is what we are continuously working on since July. However, please understand also that this will be the first soap opera of Alden and Maine and they deserve a well thought of and well crafted soap opera that is not rushed and done haphazardly.”
She added,”Hopefully, one of the concepts will be approved soon by both the management team of Alden and of course, Maine’s management team. In the meantime, if Alden has separate assignments from Maine, it does not mean that these assignments will contradict the aldub loveteam. I would also suppose that the same is true for Maine’s endeavors even if these do not include Alden. There is no intent on the part of GMA to pair Alden with another girl aside from Maine. So instead of fighting and arguing amongst ourselves, let us unite and support Aldub and pray for all their upcoming projects together whether it be a soap opera, a movie or any other projects that will come their way.”
